Core Team:

1. Head of Unit -Chief Information and Cybersecurity Officer(CISO)(1):Oversees all cybersecurity operations  by developing appropriate strategies to secure university digital assets, information systems and resources.

Technical Roles Cybersecurity:

1. Cybersecurity Analysts(3): Monitor security systems, analyze logs, investigate security incidents, and perform vulnerability assessments.
2. Cybersecurity Engineers(4): Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) ¹ systems.  Conduct ethical hacking exercises to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications. Investigate cybercrimes and collect digital evidence.
3. Cybersecurity Architects(1): Design and implement secure network architectures and security solutions.

Support Roles:

1. Security Awareness Trainers(1): Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate faculty, staff, and students.

The Multimedia Unit is a sub -unit of  cybersecurity unit and will require a dedicated team reporting to the head of cybersecurity unit. A staffing as shown below is recommended.
